Does the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack # RLZ01-DC Install Completely Level on My 2010 Ford Transit Connect?

Question:

Why do the the legs come in two different sizes? is it because of the curvature of the front of the car? if not, will this make the box I plan to put on top point slightly upwards?

Great question! I went ahead and called my tech at Rhino-Rack, and she confirmed that the reason why there are two different heights of legs that come with the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack # RLZ01-DC is because of the curvature of the roof. She also said that the crossbars will be even once installed, so the cargo box will lay completely flat. I went ahead and attached a picture of this rack installed to give you perspective.

For a great cargo box that is compatible with the larger Heavy-Duty crossbars, I recommend the Rhino-Rack Zenith MasterFit Rooftop Cargo Box - 14 cu ft # RRRMFZ66 along with the HD fit kit # RUBK-MF.

If you already have a cargo box, I recommend measuring to make sure that your clamps can fit around the 1-5/8" wide x 1-7/8" tall heavy-duty crossbars of the roof rack.
