There may be a couple of reasons your Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR93FR is heating up hotter than what the set temperature is.
More than likely it's something as simple as your thermostat being set too high, or you have a malfunctioning thermostat.
You can verify if the temperature is set too high, by checking your thermostat and set it lower if it's necessary and check to see if the issue persists.
Alternatively, you can use a multimeter # PT29ZR to monitor the continuity as you rotate the dial. If a thermostat does not appear to open the contacts when turned to a lower setting, then it should be replaced by a qualified technician.
What I believe is the issue is a malfunctioning thermostat since the thermostat controls the on and off cycle of water heater elements. You should check the thermostat for error codes and make sure that the thermostat is properly wired to the unit.
If you have no connection issues with the unit itself ,then you may have a faulty unit and would need to reach out to Furrion for a replacement.
