Question:

I have a 2022 Mazda CX5. The dealer can not supply a hitch due to a change in the rear bumper on the 2022 model. Will the part # 76138 fit this model?

Yes, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76138 has been confirmed to fit your 2022 Mazda CX-5. I have linked an installation video below that will show you the installation process as we have installed this receiver on a 2022 in our shop.

I do recommend installing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118746 when you install the receiver. This will make installation of the wiring easier if you wish to route it outside the vehicle rather than running it through the rear door seal when it is needed. The 4-way connector will allow you to connect to the trailer lights on most small trailer and will also allow for Auxiliary Lights # C53201 in the event your bike rack or other hitch mounted accessory impairs the view of your taillights to drivers behind you.
