The Universal Roof Rack Adapter Kit for Malone Telos XL Load Assist # MAL95VR will fit on round, square, most oval factory and aftermarket crossbars with a maximum cross bar size of 3-3/4" wide and 1-1/2" tall.
As long as the cross bars on your 2017 Subaru Outback's cross bars are less no wider than 3-3/4", and no taller than 1-1/2", then this will work for you.
