Question:
I have a trailer boat. Put bearings in and found out that the dust covers are different sizes. Are the correct bearings in the hubs

If the bearings you took off of your boat trailer match the new ones then you'll have the correct bearings. To replace the dust covers you are going to want to measure the inside of the hub where the grease cap inserts or you can measure the outside edge of the cap behind the ridge where it inserts into the hub. The diameter does need to be a precise measurement so you will want to use the Performance Tool 4" Carbon Fiber Digital Caliper item # PTW80157. If you are worried about the bearings you put on not being correct you can also use the caliper to measure your spindle and see if the bearings you bought are the correct size. The bearings will have a number stamped into them that you will be able to easily find the diameter of. If you need any further help feel free to message me back with the hub diameter, bearing numbers, or spindle size and I will find you the correct bearings and dust caps.
I have linked a diagram below that will show you the measurements you will need to find.
