When installing a hitch on your 2018 Mazda 3 Hatchback I recommend The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2 inch # 306-X7305. This hitch has a concealed cross tube, that has a gross towing weight up to 2,000 pounds and a tongue weight up to 300 pounds. I would check your manual to double check the towing capacity for your vehicle. It has a black powder coat finish that offers superior rust protection.
Depending on what you're using your hitch for I would also recommend The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118405. It is a simple plug and play installation that comes out as a 4 flat plug connector.
To finish off your towing experience I would also recommend The Curt Towing Starter Kit # C45554. This kit includes the ball mount, the 2 inch hitch ball, and other starter towing accessories.
I will attach an installation video below.
