Question:

Hi, I have a bike rack see photo and I need a hitch receiver on my 2018 Tesla 3 model. I would normally only have 2 bikes on the rack. Can you tell me what kind of receiver I need? I don’t think I would ever pull a trailer just need it for bike.

Your picture didn't come through but I know exactly what you are going to need on your 2018 Tesla Model 3 without it. You're going to want the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" item # 391TES317. This hitch is custom fit and bolts directly to your Tesla with included hardware. It comes with a 2" receiver that is completely removable so your Tesla will retain its factory look when you are not using your bike rack. The receiver sticks out 3-3/4" from the back of your bumper so you will have plenty of room for a bike rack. I have attached a diagram I made and also linked an installation video.

This hitch has a towing option if you ever change your mind and decide to tow a small trailer. You will just need the Towing Kit w/ Ball Mount and Trailer Wiring for Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver - 2" Ball item # 391CONVB7.

For a great bike rack that will hold two bikes up to 60 lbs I recommend the Kuat NV 2.0 Base Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Matte Black item # BA22B.
