What is the easiest way to replace the rubber plug in a dust cap on a Dexter E-Z lube axle?

Removing and installing a plug like the Rubber Lube Plug - Fits 1.18" Lubed Dust Cap - Qty 1 # DC-RP is a very simple process. All you have to do is pull out the old plug using something like a screwdriver and push the new plug into place. There is a lip on the plug that allows it to fit inside the metal ring and form a seal.
