Dimensions Of The Thule Hideaway Awning

Question:

What is the height of the mounting surface? I need the 12ft one, can I order surface mounting brackets instead of the L brackets for a rack? Also, how long do the legs extend? Thanks

The height of the Thule HideAway Awning # TH64WJ canister is approximately 4" tall. The legs are adjustable with a maximum height of 9.7'.

Thule does offer the Wall Mount Adapter for Thule HideAway Awning # TH307999, which is designed for mounting to a Ford Transit with a high roof, but could be used with whatever your application is. You'll just want to ensure the the brackets are screwed securely into studs or some other form of support to handle the weight of the awning and any winds that could press/pull on it while in use.
