Question:

I have a fixed position pin box. It is set up for a short bed truck with the 5th wheel having a rounded front end. I have pulled this for 3 years with a standard hitch and a short bed chevy 2500.. My main concern was the puck system as this is my first truck with this application. I believe the BWRVK3700 will work fine.

The # BWRVK3700 is compatible with 2016-2019 Chevrolet/GM Puck System. You are correct that many 5th wheel rigs with the rounded front will not require a slide type hitch even when being towed with a short-bed truck. Our fit-guide does not make that differentiation. If you select a short-bed option it will provide results of slide type hitches. If you have a rotating turret pin box or 5th wheel such as yours with rounded nose, you will need to select long bed option in the fit-guide. For your situation, to use the puck system, a well worth it investment, you have two choices in the B&W Companion Hitch. I highly recommend the B&W product line which is possibly the best hitch currently available. The 20K # BWRVK3710 and the 25K version, # BWRVK3715 My original recommendation of the B&W # BWRVK3775 was due to short bed length and aware of the your narrow nosed 5th wheel front cap.
