Is Wedge Needed for B&W Companion and Lippert Turning Point Pin Box

Question:

Hello, I have a B and W Companion RVK3710 in my GMC Sierra 2500 and a 5th wheel on order with the Trailair Lippert Turning Point pin box. Is this wedge necessary to make that combination work for moving the pivot point back? Thank you!

A wedge is needed, yes, and the Lippert Turning Point pin box does come with a universal wedge, but it is not a very good fit with the B&W Companion # BWRVK3710.

So I highly recommend instead using the 5th Airborne Custom Wedge for B&W Fifth Wheels # SWW-06.

This is a much better option than the universal wedge, and our customers who have used it with the Turning Point agree, as you can see by the review I added. I have also added a link below to a video review if you'd like to check that out.
