I have the following fifth wheel hitch and was wondering what goose neck hitch do you recommend to replace the Curt Turning point. Curt Turning Point on a Forest River Rockwood 8294BS fifth wheel SN: S009554264 LCI Item 2021105423

Hey John! Thanks for the information! The best gooseneck pin box is going to be the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box item # GY48GR. This is actually the only gooseneck adapter that will work as a replacement for the Turning Point. It has a 21,000 lbs capacity and a pin weight range of 1,500 lbs - 3,500 lbs. It has a built in scale so you can move things forward on your trailer to get the tongue weight up into this range.
You will also need the Safety Chain with 2 Hooks for Gen-Y 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # GY49GR. The Gen-Y gooseneck adapter does not include the required safety chains.
