The Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles, # HM56009 is a great product for the 2020 and earlier years of the F-150 but it is not a fit for the 2021 and later models of F-150.
For the 2022 model year we also have a great option in the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit, # RM-15267.
If you'd like recommendations for the other needed items to flat-tow a 2022 Ford F-150, I suggest the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit, # BLU33FR that fits all trim levels of the 2022 Ford F-150. Along with the Blue Ox Alpha 2 Non-Binding Tow Bar, # BX7380 that comes with the needed safety cables.
For supplemental braking, I suggest the Roadmaster InvisiBrake System, # RM-8700 and the relay kit, # RM-88400 along with the Stop Light Switch Kit, # RM-751000 the Charge Line Kit, # RM-156-25.
You will possibly need a high-low adapter to level the tow bar to your vehicle, so I have included a link to a helpful article that goes over how to measure for the correct adapter, and a link to all of our high-low adapters for you to take a look at.
It is important to look over the recreational towing section of your vehicles owner's manual for any special steps required to make your vehicle ready to be flat towed, and for any restrictions. Please note the linked product review and installation videos below.
