Question:
I wish to install a trailer wiring harness kit on my 2015 Toyota Camry. Do i need a kit with a converter? I prefer not to run a power cable the length of the vehicle.

You will need a 4-way with a powered converter for your 2015 Toyota Camry in order to ensure the lighting functions work properly on your trailer. It does require running a power wire to the battery, and while this is nobody's most favorite thing to do, it is required to get the harness to work correctly.
I have added a link below to a help article which has some tips on how to do this which I recommend checking out. As for the harness itself for your '15 Camry, the best option because it is the most reliable is from Tekonsha:
- T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118405
Along with the wiring harness, there are a number of other things you'll need if you plan to tow with your 2015 Camry, which I'll list out for you in case you still need them:
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12107
- Curt Drawbar # C45521
- Pin and Clip # F-4
- 1-7/8" Hitch Ball # C40001 or 2" Hitch Ball # C40018
