After this trailer hitch is installed can the tailgate be opened hands free? Which hitch is better in this regard?

The hitch that would limit access to the hands free liftgate option of your 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E the least would be the Curt part # C77ER as there is a bit less material around the hitch tube compared to the Draw Tite # DT92MR. With either option the function will still be there but you'd just have to kick more to the side of the hitch tube instead.
