Question:

I spoke with Yakima support and they said I need a Lid support arm #8870036. I could not find that particular item on your website. Using the picture I measured the points it suggested. Fully open from center hole to center hole its 11.5. Closed hole center to hole center is 2 5/8. The arm is 6foot from the center of the hole to the center of the rivet that holds it in place. The piece with the rivet that holds the arm in place is 2 7/8inch from the flat side to the other flat side. Can you please supply me with your part number and replacement cost please.

The 8870036 is the correct part number for the lid support on your Yakima SpaceCase. Unfortunately that part has been discontinued and is no longer available. The # 8880683 will also not fit the SpaceCase. Although it is not an ideal option, it may be time to replace your current roof box with something like the Yakima SkyBox # Y95AV.
