Thanks. I noticed that the Malone comes in 50 and 58 inch long. Would the 50 inch work with Yakima LockNLoad Platform Rack for Crossbars - Aluminum - 84inch Long x 49inch Wide Item # Y05047-39?

The Yakima LockNLoad Platform Rack for Crossbars # Y05047-39 will fit your 2018 Toyota 4Runner, but you'll need to use aftermarket crossbars because the OEM crossbars sit too low to the roof and this mounting hardware won't fit. To install an aftermarket roof rack I recommend the Malone AirFlow2 # MPG216 because it is a cost-effective solution that will get the job done.
If you'd like a solution that looks a little more custom fit the you can use the 60" Long x 54" Wide LockNLoad Platform Roof Tray # Y05045 along with the SL Adapter # Y05042-2 and TimberLine Towers # Y33TR which gives you a way to mount the rack directly to the raised rails on your 4Runner.
I personally like the smaller platform because it installs directly to your vehicle, but either option works just fine so if you like the idea of the extra cargo space you can definitely go with the larger 84 Long x 49 Wide platform.
