Question:
I'm planning to add air bags to my 2022 Sierra 3500 and would like your help. I can't decide between Air Lift and Firestone. Is there one you would recommend over the other? Thank you for your help and input.

For air bags on your 2022 GMC Sierra 3500 I would recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle # F2613 over the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL57341. Since they have the same capacity the difference to focus on is in the construction. The construction of the Firestone air bags is superior to the Air Lift.
The Air Lift bags are constructed of 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber while the Firestone has 4 layers of reinforced rubber for added durability. Firestone also uses a braided wire girdle to create the double-convoluted shape of each air spring, increasing the burst pressure of the spring. The other thing Firestone uses is corrosion-resistant metal end plates with the rolled crimp seal to keep the air bags secure. Again, this outperforms the Air Lift air bags with the nylon endcaps.
I would also recommend adding an air compressor like the Firestone Air Command # F2178. This will allow you to fill your air bags at any time from the cab of your truck. This is a dual path system so you can inflate/deflate the two springs independently or equally.
I have attached some installation videos for your reference.
