Will Yakima JayHook Kayak Carrier Work with Ladder Rack for 2022 Toyota Tacoma with Deck Rails

I Just brought a 2022 Tacoma. I am thinking about the Rola 59799. I have Yakima kayak jayhooks for a round bar. Is there a Yakima mighty mount that will work with the Rola 59799? Or is there something else? Thanks

The Yakima JayHook # Y04084 has mounting hardware that is compatible with a variety of crossbar designs, including the aero style that we find with the Rola Haul-Your-Might T3 # 59799 that fits your 2022 Toyota Tacoma with the Deck Rail System. If you are using the Yakima JayLow # Y04073 with the Round Bar Adapter then you can simply remove the adapter for the clamping system to work with aero-style crossbars.
If you have something else in the way of a Yakima kayak carrier please send me a photo of what you have so I can see if there is something that we need to do for your system to work with the aero-style crossbars.
With all of that being said, I do recommend going with a different ladder rack system. The Haul-Your-Might T3 looks nice and has an attractive price-point but if you end up misplacing some hardware in the future there isn't any support for replacement parts which can be really frustrating.
My top-of-the-line recommendation is the Yakima OverHaul HD # Y01151-5868 because of how adjustable it is and this is the only ladder rack that uses aero-style crossbars that are compatible with your standard roof rack accessories.
A cost-effective alternative is the Adarac Pro Series # A26ZR which uses square crossbars that are also compatible with either kayak carrier. The OverHaul HD is nicer and has better crossbars but the Pro Series will still get the job done.
