Review of the Rola Haul-Your-Might T3 Ladder Rack

Hayden: Today we're going to be taking a look at the Roller Haul Your Might T3 Truck Bed Ladder Rack, part number 59799. The Roller Haul Your Might is going to allow you add a ladder rack to your Tacoma, Tundra or Titan with a deck rail for utility track system.Traditional ladder racks mount to your stake pockets or clamp to your side rails. This takes advantage of your track system making it a secure fit and easy installation. Unlike those other ladder racks, this one's adjustable within your truck bed. Simply loosen up the knobs and then adjust it anywhere along the track you'd like. This is helpful when hauling loads of different lengths. It's going to be great for ladders, lumber or any other elongated items freeing up space inside your truck bed for more tools or gear.

It's also going to be great for kayaks or canoes. Some ladder racks use square or round crossbars. These are elliptical. So not only are they going to be stylish, but they're going to reduce wind noise and drag. The crossbars feature universal T slots, which is going to allow you to mount roller or other channel mounted accessories. The rubber bumper strip is going to help cushion and grip your load and can be cut to fit around your channel mounted accessories. The locking end caps are going to provide security for any of your channel mounted accessories.

Additional security is provided by the knobs. They spin freely when locked that way the ladder rack cannot be removed from your truck bed. Two locking knobs are included, one for each half of the rack. Another great security feature is the hardware is hidden underneath the calf that way it can't be removed or tampered with and it can only be accessed with the included tool. It's an aluminum construction with stainless steel hardware so it's going to be resistant to rust and corrosion, which is great because you're probably going to have it on during all weather conditions. The crossbar dimensions are 65 and 1/16 of an inch long and 3 and 1/16 of an inch wide.

The uprights are 25 inches tall. It has an 800 pound capacity thanks to the rail system. That's twice as much as the traditional roller ladder rack.Mike works with our customers. Tell me Mike, what are our customers wanting to know about the Roller Haul Your Might Mike: Well Hayden, ladder racks aren't just for ladders anymore. Our customer Thomas bought the rack for his 2017 Tacoma TRD stating, "I looked long and hard to find a decent rack to haul my paddle boards, kayaks and surf boards without costing a fortune and finally pulled the trigger on this beauty.

The looks of this rack leave my truck looking super sporty and the aero shaped crossbars work well with other name brand attachments." Hayden: What else are customers saying Mike: Several customers have stated that installation is a little tricky. Can you tell us about that Hayden: Well now that's a good question. Depending on what truck you have, there's a few different ways you can go about the install. When I found it was easiest when it was difficult is to install the uprights first and then the crossbars. That can make it a little bit easier, that way they don't have any problem getting the uprights or the T bolts into the utility track. Mike: Customers have been comparing this ladder rack to the track rack track one. How do they measure up Hayden: Well both are going to slide into the utility track, and they both also feature an 800 pound weight capacity. However, the roller is going to work with more accessories, and it's going to be the more economical choice. Now we'll show you how to get it installed. I've already got it pre-assembled. You'll want to refer to your instructions to find the length between your two uprights depending on what truck you have. Then you'll want to take your plastic strip and cut it to fit around your uprights. This is going to further help reduce wind noise and drag. For demonstration purposes, we will not be installing this.Next, you'll want to remove any end caps that are on your rail system. Then with my knobs and T bolts loosely installed, we can begin sliding them through the utility track. So with an extra set of hands, we'll go ahead and slide it in place. Then we can line up out T bolts within our track and then slide it forward to our desired location, and then we can tighten them down. Then we can replace our end caps and then we're all set. That's going to complete our look at the Roller Haul Your Might T3 Truck Bed Ladder Rack, part number 59799.
