Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this replacement bolt kit for your Yakima Hull raiser arrow. Now this replacement bolt kit is basically the hardware that holds your hull raiser arrow kayak carrier to your roof rack. It comes with the T bolts that you see here, the carriage bolts and the knobs that tighten everything down. So you're gonna need to get this if your current hardware is missing, damaged, or worn out because without these pieces, the carrier won't mount securely to your crossbar.
So that could mean rattling, poor stability, or even the risk of the rack or kayak coming loose while driving. Over time, bolts and knobs can get stripped, corroded, or lost, and this kit is Yakima's official way of replacing them. So even if your current hardware is still intact, replacing it can be a good idea if you notice some looseness, slipping, or rust. It's also useful if you've switched, switched crossbars and you need proper fittings for the hull raiser arrow. Think of it as kind of like a cheap insurance, making sure that the rack stays solid and your kayak rides safely.
So like I said, this kit is directly from Yakima, so you're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues, fitment issues, or anything like that.
