Can Replacement Trailer Axle be 1/2 inch Longer than Other Axle on Tandem Trailer

Question:
Hi, I need to replace an axle on a tandem trailer and the closest axle I can find is about 1inch longer from brake flange to brake flange outside measurement. All other measurements are the same, is this 1/2 difference on both sides going to make a difference or can I use the axle I found as a replacement?

It wouldn't be an issue. Having the one axle stick out just 1/2 inch further with the #T3584F-EZ-8974 than the other wouldn't cause any issues.
