These were a good fit but wish they came with the hardware. Especially since they are 3 different size holes

by:

the parts are great and fix nice. Im glad the part came in rare metal , that allowed me to custom paint to match my trailer. im very happy. thank you.

by:

These fit perfectly on my triple axle Kaufman trailer where I replaced all 4 of them. I got some commercial quality spray paint and painted them black. I'll also include some pictures of my old ones that were original with the trailer. You can see they definitely needed to be replaced! I always use etrailer for my trailer parts. Everything is good quality, fits perfectly, and arrives on time.

by:

Nice made piece. Matches what I'm replacing except the spring eye holes are about two thirds a hole lower. Shouldn't be a problem.

  • Looking For New Equalizer And Hangers For 1997 Hudson 10K Equipment Trailer
Hello Adam, thanks for reaching out. We do carry the 13-1/8" long equalizers for 2" slipper springs. We have the # 13-117-03 which is for a 1" center hole, or the # TREQ1344 which is a 7/8" center hole. As far as the hanger, we may have an option for you, but hangers are measured from the top of the hanger to the center of the hole. Take the Center Hanger for 2" Wide Slipper Springs # 29-5-1 for example. It is 4-1/2" tall from top to center hole. It works with a 7/8" diameter bolt. For...

  • Spring Hanger Spacing Dimensions for a Tandem Axle Slipper Spring Suspension on a 14,0000 lb Trailer
The hanger spacing for a tandem axle trailer suspension setup can be determined, but you need to take into account the axle spacing needed for the overall diameter of your wheel and tire combination and the springs you will be using. Lets say that you plan on using 4 of the 5-Leaf Slipper Springs, # e74SR, for 7,000-lb Trailer Axles, and that your wheel and tire combinations are the Karrier ST235/85R16 Wheel and Tire, # AM32764. The AM32764 wheel and tires overall diameter is 31.61 inches,...

  • 2 Inch Wide Replacement Equalizer for Slipper Springs on Seven Thousand Pound Triple Axle Trailer
The TruRyde # TREQ1344 Equalizer for 2 inch wide Slipper Springs that you referenced is considered a fit for the dimensions that you listed on your triple axle trailer with seven thousand pound axles. I would recommend replacing the entire equalizer instead of welding in new bushings. You indeed would need 4 equalizers for your triple axle trailer. The total length (a) and the length from the center of the front bolt hole to the center of the middle bolt hole (b) is slightly off when...

  • Do You Offer a 13-1/8" Long Equalizer for 2" Slipper Springs Without any Hardware?
The Equalizer from the Tandem-Axle Trailer Equalizer Kit for 2" Slipper Springs # AP216 is available without the hardware. The Equalizer for 2" Wide Slipper Springs # TREQ1344 is what you are looking for.

  • Bolt Recommendations for a Equalizer for 2 inch Slipper Springs
For the Equalizer for 2 inch Wide Slipper Springs # TREQ1344 you will want to use a Wet Equalizer Bolt with Castle Nut and Grease Zerk # TRFA71063 for the center bolt hole. This bolt has a grease (zerk) fitting. For the side bolt hole that the spring will mount to you will want to use a Spring-Eye Bolt with Locknut # 166079. For a keeper bolt you would want a Leaf Spring Center Tie Bolt with Nut # 38-4TB. I attached an FAQ article on slipper spring suspension setups for you to check out also.

  • Inner Diameter of the Slipper Spring Hanger for 2 inch Springs 29-1
I went out to our warehouse and pulled a part # 29-1 to get the internal dimension you asked for and found it to be 3 inches. This hanger is for use with 2 inch wide slipper springs. The Equalizer part # TREQ1344 is also for use with 2 inch wide slipper springs so the two would work well together.
