My 22 Nissan frontier does not have the plug behind that right foot panel

Sometimes you have to dig pretty far to find the connector behind the right kick panel of your 2022 Nissan Frontier to be able to install the Curt kit part # C56225 that you referenced. The connector has to be there though so I would recommend looking further till you find it.
