I am looking for a hitch that will fit my 2022 BMW. It is an X3 M40i. I will be using this hitch to tow a trailer, please make a recommendation.

For a hitch to tow with your 2022 BMW X3 M40i I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76226. This hitch has a concealed cross tube so you will only see the receiver tube hanging down at the back of your vehicle. It is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It also has a max gross trailer weight of 5,000 lbs and tongue weight of 750 lbs. It features a bolt-on installation and a limited lifetime warranty.

For the most reliable wiring harness, you need the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK77FR. This plugs into existing wiring, so no cutting or splicing is needed. Once installed, you will have a 4-way connection at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer's signal lights.

For a ball mount, the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 is a good option. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
