Question:
I have a 2021 Silverado 2500HD . It has a Wi-Fi Hotspot. I want to use the Hotspot in my 5th wheel trailer. The truck accessory must be on. Will this charger be sufficient? I want to permanently install it.

The NOCO GEN On-Board Battery Charger # NOC54FR is intended to be a permanent mount solution. It will maintain a charge using 5 amps. Whether this is enough will depend on how long you are leaving the accessories on and how quickly the accessory mode on your Silverado 2500 depletes the battery. From what I could find researching this, people have found the 5 amps to be sufficient when using the accessory mode for a few hours at a time.
