Replacement Camera for Furrion Vision S with Foggy Image

Question:

I HAVE A 2019 CAMPER WITH THE FURRION S REAR CAMERA. The lens is fogged up/ poor image on monitor. It seems i need to replace the whole assy to fix this? Item FCN48TASF. Is the current camera/lens model have improved sealing/ lens and will last longer than 2 -3 years?

The Furrion Vision S system has not been upgraded or revised since 2019 so the replacement camera part # FCN48TASF would not be different but worth mentioning is that this is not a common issue at all so I would not anticipate it happening with a new camera.

@JuanS I looked into this a bit more and what you can do is take 2500 grit sandpaper to the lens to polish it smooth again and you'll be able to see clearly again. It's not internal fog like some thought at one point and instead something to do with the finish of the lens.
