Pair this coupler with a sewer pipe adapter (sold separately) to connect a rigid drain pipe to your RV's waste valve. One end secures to a 3" diameter rigid pipe, and the other end secures to the sewer pipe adapter. Includes 2 hose clamps.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra Flexible Sewer Coupler. This is used to covert from an RV flexible drain hose system to a rigid pipe connection to the sewer. It includes the hose clamps, one at each end for easy security. It's going to couple standard three inch, schedule 40 ABS pipe. A few measurements to go over with you real quick. Inner diameter, it's going to measure three and a half inches.
External diameter, about four and one eighth. That's going to be the same on each side. You see you got the nice metal hose clamps, very easy to use. Tighten those down using a flat blade screwdriver or a small socket. Measuring edge to edge going this direction, we're looking at about two and one quarter inches.

This coupler was a good replacement for the rotten original. I used it to connect the grey tank outlet to a section of solid pipe.

This made installation of a new waste valve much easier IMO. I was careful to clean road grime and lightly sand some undercoat overspray off the old pipe to avoid any chance of a leak.

As I had hoped, the T80A was the exact replacement for the waste valve on my 2006 motorhome. Removal of the old valve and installation of the new took me about three hours.

It was just what I needed, took less than 10 minutes to replace.
I used it to replace the stock connection that was installed on my 2020 Winnebago Solis. The factory had clearly overtightened the original (which I'm sure led to it failing a little earlier than necessary). Anyway, this product fits perfectly, was easy to install, and is now keeping my gray tank from having a slow drip leak. 15 minutes max to do yourself...like if you're someone who has never turned a screw driver...
It's already installed and ready for a new trip.

That's a relief, Bob! A leaking grey or black water tanks is definitely not ideal! Glad everything worked out :)
