Expert Reply:
In most cases the Valterra Eccentric Tank Reducer - RV Gray Water - 3" Spigot to 1-1/2" Hub # T1041-1 is going to be attached to the gray water tank with an ABS solvent like # A05-0303, so it will need to be cut off in order to replace it.

Do not use abs cement on the larger diameter of the eccentric reducer. Butyl tape is used on that portion. Look for the worm gear clamp and loosen it. It will take some work and the eccentric reducer should come out. Abs cement will ruin your chance if you install the new one with this. Do not ruin your tank.
