LaSalle Bristol RV Sewer - Waste Valves - 34466N11AB72GMA Review

Today we're going to take a look at the LaSalle-Bristol RV Waste Valve. This is a 1 1/2" diameter. It's going to fit spigot to hub and it has a 72" cable. And this is going to replace the valve for your RVs gray water tank. It has that 1 1/2" diameter to allow passage for the waste water to travel freely when the valve is open. The hub or larger side is going to slide onto the sewer pipe and the spigot or smaller side is going to slide into the sewer pipe. Our flexible steel cable is going to allow you to install the handle wherever you want it whether that's in a secure location or a hard to reach place or pretty much anywhere where you'd need to have it accessible but still out-of-the-way so it doesn't get accidentally pulled.

Now one of the things that the instructions recommends is that you do not loop your cable. I have this looped just because it's a pretty long cable and it's a little hard to see otherwise. So just to demonstrate that opening valve, if you pull on the handle, it's going to open that valve. Push it in, it closes it. Initially it's a little bit stiff but then it works pretty well. It's going to have a non-stick coating to help that valve seal easily opened and closed.

Again our cable is going to be made of a flexible steel. In addition to them suggesting that you don't loop the cable you'll also want to make sure that there are not really hard kinks in it. You'll want to have just sort of an easy gentle bend with the handle coming out relatively straight. You don't want to have it off-set or anything. That's just to make sure that it's going to pull safely and securely.

You'll also want to anchor in a couple locations so grabbing some loom clamps wouldn't be a bad idea. We do have a couple options here at etrailer.com. Loom clamps, zip ties, any of those things will help you get that anchored down. This also requires to have some ABS Solvent Cement to install properly. If you don't already have that you can pick that up using part number A05-0303 and you can also find that here at etrailer.com. Now as far as our diameters, again our larger opening, that's going to be our hub side.

The inner diameter is going to be 1 7/8", the outer diameter is going to be 2 1/4", if we flip that over to the smaller side or our spigot side, the inner diameter is going to be that 1 1/2" and the outer diameter is going to be 1 7/8". This is NSF approved and this product is also made in the USA.That's going to do it for our look at the LaSalle-Bristol RV Waste Valve with the 1 1/2" diameter and 72" cable.
