Question:
What part # for tire size 35X12.50X18?

Expert Reply:
There are a couple of options for snow tire chains that will fit your size 35x12.5-18 tires, and the best one depends on if you are only going to encounter snow, or snow along with potentially some ice:
- Snow & Ice: Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains for Wide Base Tires - Ladder Pattern - V-Bar Links # TC3831
- Snow: Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains for Wide Base and Dual Tires - Ladder Pattern - Twist Link # TC3231
While both are great for heavy snow due to their ladder pattern that gives you excellent grip, particularly for starting and stopping, you will want the V-bar links of the # TC3831 if you also encounter a lot of ice. The reason for that is the V-bars have small studs that will dig into the ice for the best traction. The twisted links of the # TC3231 are still going to be useful in icy conditions, just not quite as effective as the V-bar links.
Both of these chains will fit your 35x12.5-18 tires, but I do highly recommend tensioners as well to ensure the tightest possible fit, the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster # TCMA2.
