Tire Chain Recommendation for 295/70R18 Tires on a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic

Question:
I was watching some YT videos about snow chains for my 2019 Ram 1500-Classic and when looking online to find some, the models in the video, I couldn’t find any that would fit my tires 295/70R18. If you could help me find some that would fit my tires, I would greatly appreciate it, thank you.

Hey Paul,
There are a handful of tire chains that fit the 295/70R18 tires on your 2019 Ram 1500 Classic and I'll link the selection here, but I recommend the pewag Wide Base Tire Chains # PW94FR because they are able to be used on and off road and has the bite and consistency in the ride that you want.
The online owner's manual didn't say anything about your tire size so I highly recommend checking the clearance in the wheel well and behind your tire to make sure the chains won't damage anything.

Thank you, I’ll move forward and grab a pair of them. If they end up not giving me the clearance that I need, is there a return policy where I could send them back? I am pretty sure I’ll have enough room, before getting the tires I got a 2.5” lift on the front and haven’t noticed too much of a decrease in space.
