Question:

Have a 2010 MB GL450 towing a trailer with LED lights. Ive been told I need a led lamp out bypass but no one seems to know what it is. Need help fixing this. What part needed where can I find it.

The answer is that you are needing the Curt Adapter # C35FR. This adapter is used because LED's draw such low power that a lot of times on German vehicles your lamp out indicator will illuminate giving you the impression that you have an issue, when in reality you do not.

With this adapter you will be able to tow your trailer with your 2010 MB GL450 without a problem. The adapter has built in load resistors that create more draw so the sensors think everything is working normally.

If you need a 7-way to 7-way then the Curt # C57003 would be the correct adapter.
