The exhaust heat shield ? what is the problem with this as far as the car ?

The heat shield of the 2020 Hyundai Sonata gets in the way of the Draw Tite hitch part # DT74MR from fitting. If you check out the included instructions you can see that the hitch installs on top of where the heat shield sits.
