And why would you like one over the other. What about the durability of the chains. Heard cable more prone to wear and tear compare to chains.

The Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains # TC1555 will not fit the 235/55-19 tires on your 2022 Kia Carnival but as an alternative we have the pewag Servo RS # PWRSV80A.

If you're looking for something that is a bit more cost-effective then I recommend checking out the Titan Chain # TC1146. These have the D Links so they will do a good job at giving you traction, but they are in the ladder pattern which will be more noticeable than the diamond pattern of the chain mentioned above.

The ladder style is more of a traditional chain. It will get the job done but you will feel the gaps between the cross-chains as if you were going over bumps (because you technically are). The diamond style chains tend to be less cost-effective but since your tire will always be on top of a chain it feels a bit more even. You are correct about the cables. Don't go with them unless that's your only option. They are a mess to deal with and are essentially effective for only one use.
