I have a platform bike rack that I will use on my 2021 Subaru Forester. The bike rack folds so I need a hitch that gives me the most clearance from the bumper, what one will do that?

The hitch that you want for your 2021 Subaru Forester is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13409. This hitch is made in the USA, has a bolt-on, no-drill installation and will provide you with a 2" receiver opening which is the most common size used for hitch mounted accessories like your bike rack. The biggest thing though is that it will stick further out than the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76271 which is more recessed. I have included 2 pictures showing the Curt and Draw-Tite hitches in relation to the back of the Forester.
