Question:

Im thinking of buying the draw tite or curtis tow hitch with 2 inches opening… what is the size of the bolts that comes with it? I need to buy the correct FISH WIRE size for installion.. thank you

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76271 comes with 7/16" carriage bolts while the Curt Hitches # C13409 and # C47HR use 1/2" carriage bolts. All of these come with fishwire that matches the carriage bolt sizes so you don't have to purchase any for installing one of these hitches on your 2022 Subaru Forester.

I recommend going with the Curt Hitch # C47HR just because it has a hidden crosstube so it looks much cleaner after the installation. It will have a longer install time but I believe the end-result is worth it.
