Question:
I need to get air bags put on my 22 Sierra 3500 and am looking at the heavy duty options. I see you have the Firestone 7500 and Air Lift 7500 options available. What's the difference and is one better than the other? Thanks.

Though the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs # AL57541 and the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs # F2709 that are designed to fit your 2022 GMC Sierra 3500 are both American made and rated up to 7,500 pounds of load leveling capacity, there is one difference that pushes me to the Firestone option. That being the durability of the actual bags.
The Air Lift air bags have 2 layers while the Firestone bags have 4 layers. This means the Firestone bags will be the heavier duty option and will be the longer lived product. If I were to add an air bag system to my Silverado, I would go with Firestone.
Something to look at to go with an air bag kit is a compressor system, like the Firestone Air Command II # F2219. Not only does this allow you to not have to rely an external source to inflate the bags and get them how they need to be on the fly, it can fill each bag individually. This means if the load isn't completely even, you can fill one more than the other to level the load out. This is another part I would install on my truck if I was putting on air bags.
