Question:

Trying to decide on airbags for my 2019 super duty. Trying to pick from the airlift 5000 or the 7500xl? What are your opinions? Have a 13,500 lb fifth wheel. I’m assuming the 7500 will sort of future proof if I ever get a heavier trailer might be good but the ride may be rougher unloaded?

Good question and for your 2019 Ford F-350 4x4, I would go with the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Ultimate Air Helper Springs # AL57577.

Compared to the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL57399, the the 7500 XL are going to give you the best load-leveling both now and, like you mentioned, into the future. The ride won't be rougher than the 5,000 lb bags if you keep them at a low psi, as the internal jounce bumpers on the 7500 XL won't be engaging.

The 7500 XL # AL57577 are also larger than the 5000, which means you don't have to run as much pressure in the air bags to get the height you need, which means less work for a compressor, should you choose to use one. And I absolutely recommend doing so in order to make it easier to maintain the right psi; for that use the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980EZ.
