Timbren or SumoSprings For 2022 Ford F-350 Towing 5th Wheel

Question:

Just picked up a new 2022 Ford F-350 SRW FX4, need recommendation for rear helper springs. Thinking Timbren or Sumo Jounce springs. Will be towing a 5th wheel trailer approximately 13-14K part-time during Arizona summers. Can quite figure what the best model or weight range for my use case. Thanks

Thanks for that info, and for your 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty, the better option between the Timbren and SumoSprings for towing a 5th wheel trailer are the Timbrens, with the correct fit for your truck being the following:

- Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # TFR350SDJ

The reason I like the Timbrens more than the SumoSprings for towing a 5th wheel trailer is their greater overall support. A 5th wheel trailer puts quite a bit of load on the back of the truck, more than a bumper-pull trailer, and the Timbrens, with their 8,600 lb leveling capacity, are designed with a heavier load in mind.

With the Timbren # TFR350SDJ installed on your F-350, the truck's back end isn't going to drop as much when you are towing your 5th wheel, leveling out and stabilizing it, which is going to give you much improved handling overall.
