Question:
Hello. We have a 2018 Jayco Jay Flight 242BHSW and it has a manual tongue jack. I would like to convert it to an electric tongue jack. Can you provide recommendations for tongue jack options for our trailer?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The electric jack I would recommend for your 2018 Jayco Jay Flight 242BHSW is the Phoenix Electric Jack part # UF38-944040 as this is the fastest electric jack out there.
Travel speed (w/ 1,000-lb tongue weight):
Extends 6" in 9.5 seconds
Retracts 6" in 8.6 seconds
Most electric jacks are pretty slow but this one is very quick. I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well.
