To install the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Ram OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package # DM6099 for the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # DM8550034 on your 2022 Ram 3500 with OEM rail kit, you'll start by removing the covers from each mounting puck and place # DM6099 into the box of the truck over the mounting pucks.
From here you'll place the locking sockets (gold locking tabs) into the main frame and lock. Then, insert four 3/8' x 1" flanged head bolts to each socket and leave loose.
Next, place the front locking sockets (silver locking tabs) into the main frame and lock. After, insert four 3/8" x 1" flanged bolts to each socket and also leave loose.
Finally, pull back on the main frame towards the back of the truck and snug bolts. Make sure the sockets are free to operate and the main frame can be easily removed. Once this is completed, torque all the bolts to 35 ft-lbs. From here, check the bolts once again and reassure the frame can be removed and operate properly.
