Is this the same fit as item # 23-105? I’m looking for a less expensive option than the Dexter OEM. Thanks

The etrailer.com Electric Trailer Brake Assembly - 12" - Left Hand - 5,200 lbs to 7,000 lbs # AKEBRK-6L will definitely be a good replacement for a Dexter # 23-105 brake assembly. This will have the exact same diameter, width, and bolt pattern so there will be absolutely no problems bolting it up. The lower price tag is also a huge plus.

Trailer Brake Assemblies #23-106 and #23-105 are the same brake assembly for the right and left sides, respectively. That's the reason for the difference in part numbers. They're 12 by 2 inch brakes for 6,000 pound axles.

If the assemblies #23-105-106-09 that you have are held on using 5 bolts instead of 4 the assembly part #23-180 will fit as a replacement since it uses a 5 bolt mounting bracket and is 12 inches in diameter.
