Do the running lights have to be on for the camera to work?

Expert Reply:
Yes, every trailer that has the pre-existing wiring for the Furrion Vision S, like # FOS05TASF that you referenced, powers the camera via the running light circuit. So, you will need to have the trailer wiring hooked up to your tow vehicle and the headlights on to power the camera.
The only exceptions to this are when people make their own connections to a different power source.
