Question:

I am looking at Swagman chinook bike rack to transport our carbon bike, i need a class 1 compatible rack. The review is excellent on eTrailer, but looking at review at other sites, many has express that this trailer is very wobbly and could damage paint. Can you please confirm if this is a suitable bike rack for carbon bike ? Does it really wobble as others mention?

I do have an option for you but as a general rule, you shouldn't use frame mount bike racks like the Swagman Chinook with carbon fiber frame bikes. The vibrations of the rack can cause damage to the frame over time. All bike racks have some movement but I agree, some more than others. For an alternative option, I recommend the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes part # SH12B which is a wheel mount rack so there won't be a chance for damage to the frame. It's also very secure with the integrated anti-rattle device which also doubles as a lock. It is lightweight as well weighing only 32 lbs which is much less than the 47 lbs for the Swagman Chinook.
