Question:

We have a 2021 Vengeance Rogue Armored 4007 with lippert 7000lb axles. I want to upgrade the suspension with equalizers and a shackle wet bolt kit. There are so many different choices for equalizers. Are there pros and cons for each? Which ones will work with my setup?

Upgrading equalizers is definitely a popular and effective way to improve the suspension and ride of a trailer, but you will need to check your wheel spacing. The MORryde 14-3/4" Shock Absorbing Equalizers # MR34AR, as an example, require the spacing to be 42 inches. This is measured from the center of the front wheel to the center of the rear wheel. This is really the only con , if you can call it that, with any of these systems as they can be pretty exact. But if you get this measurement, the # MR34AR is one that I recommend. There are also a couple potential add-ons that I like to recommend if you decide to go with this though.

First is the MORryde X-Factor Crossmember # MR33WR. This adds support to the hangers and can be added to one or all of them to shore them up with added strength. Again, this is an add-on piece that is not required, but I rather like it.

Next are the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kits for Tandem Axle Trailers. We have these with two different shackle strap sizes ( # MR46ZR for 2-1/4" long and # MR76ZR for 3-1/8" long) and will typically be more heavy duty than the ones used from the factory.
