Hello, I use a Black Widow motorcycle carrier installed in a 97 F350 crew cab truck. It is too high for one person to safely load a drz400s motorcycle. Carrier weight 100 lbs. Motorcycle weight 350 lbs. Will this adapter work? Can I have a welder reinforce it further?

I have a recommendation as the Roadmaster High Low Adapter # RM-058-4 is only designed to be used with tow bars and not a motorcycle carrier.
The Replacement Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount # 325-GH-303 gives you 3 stacked receivers. This will give you different options on how much you want to lower your carrier. You can place it level with your receiver, 2-1/2" or 5" of drop. This adapter allows for 1,500lbs of tongue weight and will be able to handle your Black Widow motorcycle carrier.
Since the Gen-Y ball mount has a 2" receiver you will need a Receiver Reducer Sleeve # C45405 to fit your 1997 Ford F-350 with the 2-1/2" receiver.
I do recommend using some Auxiliary LED Indicator Lights # C53201 on your Black Widow carrier to ensure that the drivers behind you can see your signals and brake lights when you are driving with your Suzuki DRZ400s loaded on the carrier.
