Recommended Hitch For a 2021 Toyota Highlander Hybrid With Lift Gate Sensor

Question:

I want to add a hitch to my 2021 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Is this the newest type hitch? Because a dealer talks about the foot kick sensor to open the back will be blocked with the hitch.

Though hitches can limit the area of use with the kick sensors, we have not had anyone say the etrailer Trailer Hitch # e75ZR completely blocked its use. Even though each one of the hitches that we have to fit your 2021 Toyota Highlander states "Hitch may interfere with the Hands-free Liftgate sensors and functionality may be very limited or possibly lost.", it is more likely that you will be able to kick to one side of the center and get your hatch sensor to engage.
