Question:

need to know all parts and pieces for flat towing 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4x4 behind F 450 with truck camper. I already have a Torklift 48inch extension that I use to pull a trailer now. What Im interested in a complete Blue Ox system. Blue ox Avail tow bar, Blue Ox Baseplate combo with tow bar, Blue Ox patriot 3 Brake controller, Blue ox wiring kit for this Jeep, Blue Ox coiled electric hook up, and what ever else I might need. Comments on this set up? Thank You,

Normally adding any extensions or adapters would drop the towing capacity by 50%, but I confirmed with TorkLift that you'll be ok flat towing with your 48" TorkLift hitch extension item # TLE1548. To flat tow your 2021 Jeep Wrangler you will need a tow bar, tow bar wiring kit, base plate, braking system, and safety cables. Blue Ox equipment is a great choice, and I have the following items you'll need listed below:

Tow Bar: Blue Ox Alpha 2 Non-Binding Tow Bar item # BX7380. I recommend this tow bar over the Avail item # BX7420 only because you don't need the 10,000lbs weight capacity and it has all the same features of the Avail at a lower cost. This tow bar has non-binding latches and a swivel function that makes it easy to connect and disconnect on any terrain. It also comes with safety cables to prevent you from having to purchase them separately.

Base Plate: Blue Ox Base Plate Kit item # BX1139. This base plate only fits the factory plastic bumper so if you have a different bumper please let me know and I can find a different base plate to fit your bumper.

Tow Bar Wiring Kit: We don't currently carry a Blue Ox wiring kit for your 2021 Jeep Wrangler so instead I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267. This diode kit allows you to use your Jeep Wrangler's tail lights and wiring system while preventing feedback from your RV and has everything you need included.

If your Jeep is equipped with ParkSense proximity sensors you will need the Roadmaster Wiring Kit with Smart Diodes for Variable Voltage LED Tail Lights item # RM47ZR instead.

Braking System: Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System item # BLU37TR. This braking system offers precise, responsive braking and allows you to easily adjust braking power, apply manual override, and monitor the system from your motorhome using the LED display. This system will require you to install a 12 Volt Outlet Kit item # RM-9332 to power the unit.

Safety Cables: Since your tow bar already has safety cables included you won't have to purchase them separately.
