The SmarT-slot kit is designed to mount your FatCat EVO 4 to T-slotted crossbars, the Yakima HD Crossbars are T-slotted crossbars so this is exactly what you need.

Yes, the Replacement M8 T-Bolt for Thule TracRac and Xsporter Ladder Racks #853-5715 that you referenced is an M8 T-bolt. It also would fit into the top channel of a Yakima HD load bar.
